Redneck Kong,[1] also known as Crappy Kong,[2] was a character planned to appear as playable racer in the 2001 iteration of Diddy Kong Pilot. Due to his stereotypical design and his derogatory name, he was quickly "killed off" by Rare.[3][4] Later builds of the game show that he was replaced by Candy Kong.[5]
